ANZAC DAY 2025

On the 23rd of AprilĀ  we were super excited to have two representative from Corrimal RSL come and visit us here at Coolgardie to help the children learn and respect ANZAC day which is coming up soon.
When our visitors arrived, we had the Dolphins join us in the Seahorse room and we turned our respectful and listening ears on giving the Soldiers our full attention when they spoke. The Children did such an amazing job being patient and respectful. The Soldiers explained their medals, hats, bugle and practiced marching with the children. We were lucky to be allowed to try them on and attempt to blow into the bugle. The children learnt about the last post, ANZAC cookies, and why Australian Soldiers use the 'Slouch Hat' before taking part in our formal service. The Children stood up for a minute of silence and we thanked our special visitors for coming to see us today by giving them some ANZAC biscuits, posters which each room worked so hard on and now will be displayed in the front window of the RSL club.

A huge Thank you to David and Henri for taking the time to visit us today.
