Responsible pet program today!

Our educator and speaker for the day was Vicki and she brought in Kobi who is a Japanese Spitz.

The children sat quietly and patiently, meeting Kobi with smiles and a wave before listening to a story and a few songs about keeping safe around animals, and in this instance, dogs.

We learnt to stop, ask, smell and pat before having the opportunity to try this on Kobi and we each had a turn in patting Kobi.

Kobi was very calm, soft and friendly and made this a positive experience for all.

With this hands-on learning experience including music and movement, the children learnt about safety in a fun and interactive way!
